As a quick follow up to my previous entry, a very timely YouTube video was uploaded today. It is by Christopher Barnatt, who has made many interesting videos on his channel ExplainingComputers. Here he discusses the future timeline of Windows 7 and what it means for users.
As I stated before, I am looking to make the transition to Linux. However, I have applications that will not work with Linux. These are my video and audio applications. Even though there are many video/audio programs for Linux, none have the list of features that compare with what I currently have. This will be a problem I will need to solve by the time Windows 7 is no longer supported.
